Great place for young and old. The kids play area was upgraded a couple of years ago and is a lot more fun compared to the old boring slides. Plenty of area for kids and adults to kick a ball around or play cricket etc. The road around the park is about 3kms long.. serves well for a run, bike ride, a walk or even a slow drive.

excellent kids playground only built in 2016 i think. great scenery and water animals and ponds situated around the park. great for picnics or bbqs. feels like a less developed version of centennial park sydney.

I recommend the tour of Government House. Well versed guides who are passionate about their history share their knowledge of the early days of the Australian colony. It really is a must for children. Reminded me of touring Mount Vernon.
